color can vary from whitish, yellow, green occasionally a beautiful purple streak on one side.  being a natural product pyrography blanks may contain shake lines on one side.  This does not affect the wood and is usually from previous movement.

Always store blanks in room temperature never near a heat source, doing so may cause warping or splitting and damage the wood.  If being used outdoors a good quality UV top coat should always be used to protect the wood from sun damage and rain.

PLEASE NOTE: Size may vary slightly due to wood being a natural product.

Our solid wood craft blanks are handmade start to finish using A grade kiln dried  wood.  Each solid blank is sanded to a fine grain on one side and left rustic on the other.

All our wood is dry kilned and rested. Wood is a natural product and every piece will be different depending on its grain. Blocks will no doubt contain knots which add to the beauty of each piece. Our blocks are designed for the rustic look. One side is sanded to a finer grain whilst the other is left more rustic to give you a choice which to use. Wood has natural movement so light cracking may be on the rustic side but never on both.  This movement happens before the wood is kilned and again adds to its character which our users love.
